Why did I choose the theme that I did: I did this theme because I wanted to do something different to everyone else instead of making it look simple i wanted color and shade for my work i made sure theres different kinds of drawings with different meanings but in the same topic i looked at the other artist and got amazed by the work they have done over the years I made sure that i had color and patterns in my work I needed it to be tidy i wanted trippy patterns by the confusion by the art of jacob yikes it inspired me to so some trippy confusion artwork I enjoyed doing the crazy patterns i tried different ideas for a design on my board i also saw lots of colors on many art works online and wanted little color and lots of shading so the art could be odd. I also used emotions because it was an interesting thing that came up in my head i like the reactions of characters in tv shows or movies I thought all the ideas was a really good idea for my art work i thought no one has done that kind of artwork. Instead of my copying other works and design my own.
I used the idea from jacob yikes he made me think about what kind of work he has done the first thing I thought about his work was the meaning of the work and i was thinking it was his past and what he has enjoyed so I made my own and used the idea to make weird patterns and some color i use the colors that i used a lot when I was younger it gives me joy and happiness
And also sad because i miss the past but that gives me the idea for emotions and caught my interests and used online to see how the emotions were shown in a drawing i wanted to try mix some of the ideas that I thought earlier and mix them into one making a great peace of art jacob yikes made me think about what I needed to do by just seeing his work i got the idea of the meaning in my work and that's one of the best things in my art. I saw houses and faces and smiles in his art work and also gave me a push to do some emotions,patterns I just liked his work.
While I was doing my drawings for my board i made a few changes and added different kinds of patterns and I thought of the card pattern diamonds hearts and the rest I sketched the patterns and tried drawing people and add that onto them and they all show their emotion with a cool background i really liked how my ideas grown over time during the year it helped make my artwork show more. I wanted to paint some of my work but I have been to lazy to do so because i'm afraid to wreck my work and start over and end up with nothing on my board it could ruin my ideas. But i thought of spray painting and could be easier i could make a pattern on a piece of paper and spray near the holes/patterns but I knew things wouldn’t go as planned and so I'll just think of another way to do so.
I did end up painting some of my work and didn't end up looking great I kept those because of my teacher keeps on telling me to keep them even if it's bad but did use some space on my board. I don't like painting but I'll end up doing it anyways i would drawing something that's for painting so i can expect to fail it or just scim from the fail line i want my work to be good not great or bad because i'm not so good with paint wet or other kind of paint it difficult but i do try and so on I have some on my art board because i got told to keep them and if not i'll probably have had nothing to do with paint on my board it isn’t easy to paint but i'll learn that mistakes do happen because I smudge my work and maybe go over the line with paint that's really disappointing
I am proud of the amount of work I have done on my board and it's meaning on it.
My art is based on emotions and by showing that is drawing eyes or the facial expressions of the character telling what they feel like being happy or sad or crazy or maybe more. Furthermore i want to match the color to their emotions and to the pattern and to make it look crazy i'm happy with my ideas and make it into a red and black color not just red and blue rather board be the same colors making it look boring i also have been put more shading in my artworks to make things look much better in some areas.
I did some drawings for my board but got some of the sizes wrong like the peace of paper I use or the shape of the head or maybe the body being smaller that the head i wanted to chuck them out i did chuck out a couple of my artworks I have been working at an anime type style on my board and hoping to mix it in with the patterns and the blue black. The left over work i have done for my board but didn't end up putting it on the board was all good ideas but didn't go as planned.
I have finished some of my drawings and paintings i just wished that i added a bit more patterns into them because they all just look to plain and don't look like the work i have said that i would i have used different colors to see if they suit the board and to make look
