L2 mathematical shapes and terms

mathematical shapes and Terms

a square has four parallel and equal sides and has an angle of  90° each is 360° 4 = 90° so every angle of a square is a right angle.

rhombus has four equal sides. The opposite sides are parallel, but the corners do not form right angles. A diamond shape is a good example of a rhombus.
Is a parallelogram also a rhombus? Why? - Quora
A rectangle has four sides where everything is right sided yet again every angle is 90°and also a rectangle doesn't have equal sides around the shape.
Rectangle - Wikipedia

Diamonds are unique shapes because they have many different geometric attributes. A diamond is a quadrilateral, a 2-dimensional flat figure that has four closed, straight sides. But a diamond is also categorized as rhombus, because it has four equal sides and its opposite angles are equal. And, because its opposite sides are parallel, it's also considered to be a parallelogram.

Kite properties include (1) two pairs of consecutive, congruent sides, (2) congruent non-vertex angles and (3) perpendicular diagonals. Other important polygon properties to be familiar with include trapezoid properties, parallelogram properties, rhombus properties, and rectangle and square properties.

Engineering L2 Project power tools

 L2 Engineering power tools

here are some of the evidence i have of me using power tools

i used a size 8 drill piece for the side rail for the can crusher before using a size 8 drill i used a smaller drill to make a hole for the size 8 drill piece

i was using the grinder to smooth out the cross brace and the right and left hand rail after welding them together.

Engineering L2 Projects #2 hand tools

Evidence of using 3 different hand tools

here are some photos of me using these tools for evidence for my can crusher and gear knob

Engineering L2 Project

 Evidence of my Can Crusher

This is my can crusher for my first project i have enjoyed making this and learning what i needed to do in order to complete this project

i ended up getting a size 8 nut and bolt and now i have completed my can crusher. I've tested it out and it did pretty good.

i wished i would've picked better colors for the can crusher and re sized the wood base.
